Subsidy Caps? Ag Biz vs. "Big Ag"
Here's the context from another series. The bigger the "Big Ag" farm, the bigger the exploitation by Ag Biz. This and all exploitation of the farmers receiving subsidies is never mentioned by EWG, nor is Congressional responsibility for it.
Ok, back to the new hypothetical. Subsidies are reduced, (dark blue, before-after). MEGA benefits to Ag Biz, (MEGA exploitation of all farmers), the real cause of cheap food (light blue): NO CHANGE!
BE CLEAR! This is how subsidy caps affect farmers. Visibly, "Big Ag" farmers get reduced compensatory subsidies. Maximum exploitation (cheap prices) for all farmers by Ag Biz (buyers) is not affected at all.
UNDERSTAND IT! Subsidy caps do NOT AT ALL fix the HIDDEN MEGA injustices. Secret Ag Biz benefits remain unscathed! "70 Food Experts:" caps on "Big Ag" are the best way to fix the Farm Bill. WRONG!
Here it is on a pie chart. Is there any wonder that farmers seek dialogue with Food Movement Leaders! "Stop supporting Ag Biz against farmers! Study Brad Wilson's 'Primer: Farm Justice Proposals for the 2012 Farm Bill.'" Tweet #FoodLeaders! Be just!
