Gaza is burning...
And I am not Muslim or Jew
And I am not
And I am living, living
Eating and eating and the longer
It burns, the less I am
Human or Pure…
Will burn because Power will
Not let it be…
Fear, the gun that is pointed to you
Is pointed to us too…if
Power wanted to let us burn
But not today, as I sit and eat
My tomato soups and healthy wraps
Power wants me to eat and run
While the people of
Die and burn…I am not
Human and I am certainly not Pure
And I’ll venture neither are you…

There's so much guilt wrapped up in being human. I never saw a tiger feel guilty for eating a rabbit. Why is our nature different? What did nature really have in mind for us?

If might makes right than we need not concern ourselves with human nature- it would be quite simple. if we envy the tiger for being a tiger than we have a long way to go to realize human potential, at least in my mind. Freedom, democracy, and creation are values of human nature that make us happy, fulfilled...we've already conquered the jungle- we just can't conquer ourselves.
