If seeing is believing, then living is appalling

I hope people around the world realize the importance of looking at the unseen, listening to the unheard and speaking the untold facts of life... If we think it's all about awareness that the world's poor, illiterate and backward people need, to get out of their miseries, then how aware are we with the real facts and figures that are constantly manipulated by the vested corporate controlled media!!

Well said. To me it seems it doesn\'t take much to know something ain\'t right, but I meet a lot of people who only think within the confines that the media lays out for them. Just the other week I got into an argument with someone about Barack Obama voting to fund the war and they gave me the official media anchor/paremeter "We\'ll, once your over there you have to fund the troops," like never mind a the million arguments you can make against that crap such as "a growing number of Iraq veterns oppose the war." A lot of people are afraid of change for some reason even when they have no reason to be, also people think your just being cynical. What I argue is that in the cynicism that seeks to tear apart the world as it is, is a deep, deep, hope for building a better one.
