Struck by Mr. Blankfein Numbers

Thank you Bill Moyers for this insightfull video. I was particularly taken aback by Lloyd Blankfein's statement about people expecting to get a 30 year retirement after working 25 years. Some people may have that expectation, like Mr. Blankfein perhaps. But for the majority of us, we start working somewhere between 18 and 21, and are eligible for retirement, at 66 or 67. So roughly 47 years of work. Curently male life expectancy is around 75. That means about 8 years of retirement on average.
