The United States (and Israel) vs. the World

Two recent opinion surveys by the U.S.-based Harris Interactive Company caught my eye. Both were released on August 30--to very little fanfare, it appears. Exactly how little is worth noting.
According to the opinion survey that I will arbitrarily take first (see (A), below), the question asked adult respondents aged 16 and over, "Which one, if any, of the following countries do you think is the greatest threat to global stability?”
Their responses:[1]
As best I can tell, aside from the August 30 news release about this particular poll that the Harris Interactive Company circulated via the PR Newswire (i.e., the very same text to which I'm providing the hyperlink below), it doesn't appear that this poll received any news coverage at all. Certainly not in the English-language print media. Nor for that matter does it appear that any of the wire services reported about it. (That is, separately from the news release that Harris itself circulated to publicize the poll.)
I know it'll sound odd. But it doesn't even appear that the Financial Times reported the poll's findings—and the FT was a co-sponsor of the poll. (Or, if the FT did report them, then did so in a manner that makes searching for it counter-intuitive and difficult.) Though I'll keep my eyes open. in case anything turns up later.
In the meantime, there was another 0pinion survey that Harris Interactive released on August 30. (See (B) below.)
According to this opinion survey, U.S. adults aged 16 and over were asked, “Thinking of the governments of these [13] countries—do you believe each government is a close ally of the United States, a friend but not a close ally, is not friendly but not an enemy, or is unfriendly and an enemy of the United States?”
Their responses:[1]
([1] My very special thanks to frequent ZNet poster "Cyrano," who, as you will find in the Comments section (below), showed me that reproducing these two tables really was within my grasp.)
In general, Harris Interactive polls don't seem to receive much attention. But should we make of findings such as these?
Poll A: "Plurality of Public in Five Major European Countries Continues to See the U.S., Over Five Other Countries, as the Greatest Threat to Global Stability," Poll #68, Harris Interactive, August 30, 2006
Poll B: "More U.S. Adults See Israeli Government as an Ally or Friend than They Do Twelve Other Middle Eastern Countries," Poll #67, Harris Interactive, August 30, 2006

Pangaea:
Apologies that I don't as of this moment have a weblink either to an audiostream or a videostream copy of George Galloway's May 17, 2005 appearance before the U.S. Senate's Permanent Select Subcommittee on Investigations. (Though if they exist, please post them.)
The best I can share with you are these:

George Galloway
By Kissenger, Clark at Sep 09, 2006 23:34 PM
Friends:
I will forever be grateful to George Galloway for his May 2005 appearance before the U.S. Senate's Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations--the very same committee that Joseph McCarthy once headed, ca. 1953 - 1954. Galloway smoked the committee that day, calling the committee's chairman, the Republican Senator Norm Coleman of Minnesota, a right-wing monkey-boy. (Or words to this effect.)
On another front: It very well may be the case that Rupert Murdoch's right-wing media media organizations are itching for an American attack on Iran. About which, see "Murdoch's media empire girds for a war against Iran," Peter Symonds, World Socialist Web Site, September 9, 2006.
Sky TV is one of Murdoch's media properties. Is it not?

sigsis screen capturer
By Kissenger, Clark at Sep 07, 2006 23:56 PM
You can download sigsis screen capturer from sourceforge.net Its freeware once install and running you hit F11 and your mouse cursor will turn into a cross (like on a mac). drag the area you want selected and voila, you caputerd a specific area of screen.. next you must save this picture. You then can upload the pictures to a web space somewhere best would be to be allowed to upload small pictures... also has anyone seen the new ghostly Bin laden video being released today? I think he exist only because Bush want you to believe there is an islamowhatever threat..
Is it possible that these videos of Bin Laden be older than what was specified ? Is it possible the video show Al-Quaida training against the russians?
Funny this, videos coming from nowhere, taken nobody know when. with no identity people..and the video is supposed to commomerate 9/11? This does not make sens.

Cyrano and Pangaea:
Double- or triple-ouch, I'm afraid. First, because I can't figure out a way to post the two Harris Interactive tables on my own. Second, because Cyrano made a competent effort--though was "flagged" for it, he writes, whatever this means. And third, because Pangaea writes that it may be possible using one method--though this method isn't possible within the current ZNet Blogs software.
All of this software business exceeds my grasp, of course. Yet I was perfectly able to copy and paste the relevant tables elsewhere, and forward them along to friends without losing anything in the way of their original orderliness and readability.
