Fanfare for the Future is a a succinct and highly accessible three volume set of books providing conceptual tools for participatory theory, vision, and strategy - to aid social activism.

Fanfare aims to further solidarity, diversity, equity/justice, self management, sustainability/stewardship, and internationalism through new defining institutions of the society's polity, culture/community, kinship, and economy.

The text of the volumes are available, in full, using the links in the left menu above. Clicking each of those book links shows a submenu listing each chapter in the chosen book. Clicking a chapter link, opens a display area over the rest of this page, where that chapter can be read.

This page offers the chapter titles of each book, to the right, so you can gauge your interest. Also to the right we have links to various articles, debates, multimedia, etc. that bear on the books, clarify, and augment them. In time there will be reviews, comments, etc. There are also links for purchasing the books.

We hope that if you read the books free, you will consider making a donation. Payments, in whatever form, will help finance further books in the ZBooks series, both on areas of focus and concern - such as the ones now in preparation by Yotam Marom and Robin Hahnel on Participatory Economics, by Steven Shalom and Harpret Paul on Participatory Polity, and by Justin Podur on Participatory Culture and Community - as well as edited collections of important essays and works on a wide range of broad topics like International Relations, Feminism, etc.
