What Do You Do?

Change Text Size a- | A+

 What do you SAY then

 When no one is listening?

 No, what do you DO?

This poem, which is a haiku of sorts, highlights a problem of the Left in America today. Too often, and this includes myself, I see us wasting away our breaths on what it is we desire but not doing nearly enough to make it happen.

The first line is scratched out as a way of illustrating that the strategy is wrong. I capitalized and put in italics what I saw as the two most important verbs: do and say. We talk when no one is listening - sort of like this post - when we should be acting to get everyone's attention.
