No problem Stephen - I am more than happy to discuss these matter with you. “I think building a central website, similar to PPS-UK, that is linked directly with Z is a great idea. Unfortunatley I do not possess the skills to create it.&rdqu...

Hi Harpreet, "One way in which a PPS-US site might differ could be to allow interim national chapters to develop inside the fledgling PPS-US group and not be separate Zgroups that are only “linked”. This might enab...

Hi Mark, Thanks for comments. You're defintely right about experimenting and feeling our way through as we go along. "my gut feeling is that setting up a National US chapter that facilitates regional and local chapters will prove more e...

Hi Stephen - the right answers to your questions will be the ones that work. We can not know in advance what will work so we are all experimenting. Anyone who claims anything different should, in my opinion, be viewed with suspicion.&n...

Stephen, I think you raise really important questions. And I think the answer really depends on what is envisioned for PPS-US at this stage. 1) Talking shop? If PPS-US is going to be a place for people who share in a vision for a more part...

Apologies for being so tardy with chapter three. First I was in the UK on a speaking tour for a couple of weeks. They worked me to near death - hell, maybe I was even dead, I'm not sure. I have carefully consider next time whether 22 talks an...

I think that makes sense. One thing I like about setting up PPS chapters is that it gives people a reason to think about whether they like these ideas or not. If its okay with the people I talk to I'll post any objections people ha...

"I think it would be easier to ask people if they wanted to join an existing group." Their may be some truth to this. But ultimately a national chapter means little unless there are energized local chapters. Maybe it makes sense t...

If we build local chapters first, wouldn't we still have to answer the question of what the national group should be? For me personally, I think it would be easier to ask people if they wanted to join an existing group. Early on...

In a previous blog, I put forth the idea of creating a PPS-U.S. Those who responded did so favorably, however, only a few people currently residing in the U.S. showed interest. At this point, I have no idea how to move forward with the idea. ...

Very nice! The only thing I can think of that you don’t address here is the issue of the claim that some Marxists make that they already have a three class analysis and that the petty-bourgeoisie are the same thing as the coordinator class....
