I have been a member of this site for quite sometime and I have found it to be a valuable source of information. It tells me the stories behind what I read in magazines like the Economist, International Herald Tribune and other sources of mainstream media. Currently, I live in Singapore which has got to be the most comerialized place on the planet. Everything is tied to the big conglomerates (both local and international). It is very hard not to be suspicious of everything you see and hear here. In spite of all the brain washing the people I have met seem to see behind the news. I guess it is because it is a small country and every one seems to know someone who has a piece of the real story.
