I live in New Haven, CT, where I teach Biological Anthropology at Yale University. I do research on the behavior of wild chimpanzees in Uganda and have spent many years in African (mainly Rwanda and Uganda). My experiences there continually remind me of the enormity of the challenges that we face, but also of the enormity of what we can gain; they also remind me that the struggle starts at home.
I\'ve sent in a picture of Bartok, alpha male in the Ngogo chimpanzee community, because he\'s more handsome and more fun to look at than I am.
