Gregory Wilpert is a German-American sociologist, journalist, and freelance writer, who currently divides his time between teaching political science at Brooklyn College in New York and works on the website Venezuelanalysis.com. Also, he is the author of Changing Venezuela by Taking Power (Verso, 2007).
