Technology, being a double edged sword, is being used for dominance and suppression, to the extent that the very existence of civilization is now threatened (and not just from the ecological perspective). But technology, especially communication technology, is also providing opportunities that couldn't be imagined earlier. This naturally raises the questions about how we can use technology for positive purposes, rather than pushing the world towards destruction. Using technology effectively for resistance would, therefore be the theme of these group.
