Welcome to the
People for a Participatory Socialist International
Group Page

ZCom put forth a Proposal for a Participatory Socialist International in early March, 2010 to try to assist and perhaps influence a process initiated by a call issued from Caracas some months earlier.

There was a sequence of refinements and endorsements, and finally a settled proposal, and then steadily more people signed on.

This ZGroup was created when there were about 1780 endorsers, on April 17, and then all those endorsers were made members of the group as of April 18 - so the Group began shortly thereafter as, and it has remained, all those endorsing the proposal and then clicking the join link on this page, as well. The number of endorsers/members has climbed since.

This page displays proposal content via the left menu, as well as more about it via the link above and elsewhere on the page that leads to the Endorsement page. Here you also see content from each and all of the advocates, such as blog posts and comments  that are specifically about a new International.

In that sense, this PSI Group page serves as a means for endorsers to continue to suggest ideas and features for a new International, to discuss and debate them, and to consider options for advocating them..

We hope you will consider the proposal and, if you like it, that you will endorse it  when you have time and opportunity, and then advocate it including joining this group via the link in the top content box in the third column, labelled join this group!
