I'm originally from Northeast Ohio. I moved to California during active-duty as a Marine officer. Following my required service, I moved to Australia for a couple years for a M.A. in International Relations. During that time I was able to read and write widely, travel and work in the construction industry. While in Australia, I was involuntarily recalled to active duty from which I was recently discharged.

I'm becoming more involved in ZSpace through friends, articles and organizing. My major interests are in US Foreign Policy and the humanitarian-deficiency of  US 'democracy promotion' programs and counterinsurgency warfare. I recently began graduate school in the Sociology Department at UC Santa Cruz.
