Omar S. Dahi, assistant professor of economics at Hampshire College, received his B.A. in economics from California State University Long Beach, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of economic development and international trade, with a special focus South-South economic cooperation, and the political economy of the Middle East and North Africa.
