Z Magazine has sustained me and reminded me for years that I\'m not alone. Issues I care about are globalization, worker\'s rights, women\'s issues, US economic and military policies, environmental issues. The areas where I am most knowledgeable are Middle East culture, religion and history; labor history, and global economic issues. I\'m strongly anti-Zionist. Most of my activism since 9/11 has focused on US policy in the Middle East and civil liberties concerns.
I\'m currently working on a degree in environmental science after leaving a career in health care and health research.
