I am a Dutch activist-researcher, who has been living in Latin-America over the last years. I have participated in different movement, most continuously the dutch student and refugee movement, the global justice movement, and the movement of communities affected by mining in Peru. Currently, I am working as coordinator of the research- and capacitation centre Programa Democracia y Transformación Global in Lima, Perú. I have published various articles on social movements in times of globalization, and on the theoretical debate around them. less
