• Semi-retired teacher, higher ed and secondary.  Schooled at L.A. UCLA, School for International Training, UCLA Graduate School of Education.
• Member of United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA)-R, AFT, AFL-CIO.
• Interests include literature, opera & jazz, education, language and trying to find out what must be done and most everything else.
• Passions are my wife and daughter, my dogs, the sea, running and next week.
• Currently seeking insights into the left's abandonment of socialism and new ways forward.
