My MySpace entry is what I'm still using as my primay social site, but I finally took the plunge and got a Facebook site as well. What can I say? Growing up in the 1960s, I was the last one to grow my hair long and the last one to get it cut short again. I'm just now getting an MP3 player filled up with songs from my old tapes & albums. I belong to several antiwar groups, Philadelphia Regional Anti-War Network (PRAWN), Delaware Valley Veterans for America (DVVFA), United for Peace & Justice - Delaware Valley Network (UFPJ-DVN) & Philly Against War (PAW),
I'm constantly scribbling out pieces and I normally place them on the site for the Philadelphia Independent Media Center (PhillyIMC) and on Sundays, I attend the First United Methodist Church of Germantown (FUMCOG).
My philosophy towards our President? He's not Dear Leader, neither is he someone to mock and make fun of. As a Navy vet (PN3 (Ret), USN, 1991-2001), I'd like my president to be a good ship's captain. Someone who can steer the vessel with some skill, someone who can lead the parade and someone who can express what we feel.
