Walter Staley holds degrees of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (1989), Bachelor of Music (2001) and Master\'s of Music (2003) from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Currently, he teaches courses in both introductory computer concepts and music appreciation/history at a branch of Moberly Area Community College located in Mexico, Missouri. He also does freelance computer consulting, gives private music lessons, composes music, and plays the guitar (and some piano) at his parents\' church on Sundays.
