Help with ZCom
and with ZCom Help!
Z Communications is a humongous site. The sheer volume, of content and features can seem overwhelming - but that would be a wrong impression. In truth, once you invest a little time getting used to it, ZCom is quite easy to use and benefit from.
Okay, to the left you see a large number of Tutorial Videos.
First, we have to apologize.Sadly, some of the videos show up somewhat fuzzy when you view them due to a combination of computers and software we used to create them. They are useable, but we are re-doing them, though for the time being these will do just fine.
That said, we highly recommend that you view the tutorials as they will certainly will pay you back for time spent. The first two are overviews and give a good feeling for the site in broad terms.
The third one is about the top tab menus you will find on the site - just using them, not customizing them. The place and topic page videos explain their existence, purpose, and use.
ZSpace, Joining ZCom, managing account information, uploading blogs and contents, and particularly how to use content boxes and how to customize your own version of the site are in our view the main areas of interaction where viewing the videos will really make a difference.
This is MIchael Albert, and I use computers all the time. I have written and laid out dozens of books on them, laid out magazines on them, built web sites on them, worked with graphics, video, and audio on them, build and mined databases, and even programmed them at least ten hours a day for roughly 39 years - still, I would view these videos because instructions typically save my time and even make me aware of things I would otherwise never know existed, but which prove very useful. You too, I bet.
On ZCom, you could likely watch all the videos in an hour. That would leave you ready to use what you want, and ignore what you don't - without wondering what you are missing. So, watch at least the overview and ZSpace videos. You are unlikely to be sorry you did.
